White Oak Travel Tea Box

Two of my brother’s current unnecessary obsessions are tea and traveling. When he was visiting me for a month, he brought his travel tea accessories in a small cardboard box. Upon discussion, we agreed it was time for an upgrade. I built this box out of white oak, since I figured if it boats made of white oak can handle the ocean, a box made of white oak can handle some tea. The lid can be flipped over and used as a tea box, and even when closed, there is plenty of ventilation to dry any residual moisture.

He has continued to travel, and the box has continued to be used.
