Maple/Walnut Ring Box

I’ve been finding hinges to be an interesting challenge. For this ring box, I used a small brass rod as the pin and built in the hinge with the maple/walnut lamination. I epoxied a small pair of magnets to keep the box closed — and to keep the ring safe. Most importantly, the box served its purpose, and the couple is now happily married.
